Intech have been involved in the development of innovative new software for
many years. This experience has allowed us to refine a development process that helps
us to produce new software quickly and effectively.

Specification
The development process begins with the production of a specification
for the new software. The specification is normally produced by the
client, in consultation with Intech. Alternatively, a specification may also be produced
by Intech, which can then be approved by the client.

Quote
Once the specification has been produced , Intech then provide a detailed quote
to say how much it will cost to develop, create and test the new piece of
software. At this point, both the spec and quote may be revised, dependent
on discussions between Intech and the client.

The new software then begins to take shape, and this can involve
many people, from programmers to designers, depending upon the nature
of the project. Each stage of the process is coordinated and documented
using a tool called 'Tracker', and there are standard procedures in
place to ensure that the integrity of the new software does not become compromised.

Testing
Before the software is released to the client, it is rigorously
'System Tested' by our in-house testing team. If any faults are
found they are corrected, and we then allow the client to 'Acceptance
Test' the new software. If the client finds that the software does
not meet the requirements of the specification in any way, then
Intech will continue to work on the software until it does.

Delivery
Clients often find that their needs evolve over time, and consequently,
their software must evolve also. Intech are more than happy to make
changes to software we have developed, and this is where the development
process begins again.
